We take your privacy seriously. Here's the straight talk on how we handle your info.
Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But here at Pyrethral Nexus Fitness, we figured you deserve to know what happens with your personal info without having to decode a bunch of legal jargon.
This policy covers everything we do with your data when you train with us, book classes, sign up for membership, or just browse our site. We're based in Vancouver, BC, so we follow Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA and all that stuff). Bottom line? We only collect what we need, we don't sell your info, and we keep it secure.
When you sign up or book with us, we'll ask for the basics - name, email, phone number, address, birthday (gotta make sure you're old enough to throw around those Olympic bars). If you're doing nutrition planning, we might ask about dietary restrictions or health goals.
Credit card details, billing address - the usual stuff for memberships and class bookings. We use secure payment processors, so your card info doesn't just hang out on our servers.
Medical history, injury info, fitness assessments, progress tracking - basically anything that helps us keep you safe and crushing your goals. We take this stuff seriously since it's pretty sensitive.
IP address, browser type, pages you visit on our site, how long you hang around - standard website analytics. Helps us figure out what's working and what's not.
We're not gonna beat around the bush - here's exactly what we do with your info:
That's it. We're not mining your data for some weird side business or anything like that.
We take security seriously - probably more seriously than some of you take your warmups (yeah, we noticed). Here's what we do:
That said, nothing's 100% foolproof. We do our best, but if there's ever a breach, we'll let you know ASAP and tell you what steps to take.
Under Canadian privacy law, you've got some solid rights when it comes to your data:
You can ask to see what personal information we have about you. We'll get you a copy within a reasonable timeframe (usually 30 days).
If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it. You can update most stuff yourself through your account.
Want us to delete your data? We'll do it, unless we're legally required to keep it (financial records, injury reports, that kind of thing).
Don't want promo emails? There's an unsubscribe link in every marketing email we send. We'll still send important account stuff though.
Need your data in a format you can take elsewhere? We can provide that in most cases.
To exercise any of these rights, just email us at info@pyrethralnexus.info or give us a call. We'll verify it's actually you (can't just hand out data to anyone who asks) and then take care of it.
Our services are primarily for adults, but we do have youth athletic performance programs. If you're under 18, we need a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf and agree to this privacy policy.
For anyone under 18, we collect and use information only with parental consent. Parents can review, update, or request deletion of their kid's information anytime by contacting us.
We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 without explicit parental consent and supervision.
We might update this policy occasionally - new laws, new services, new technology, whatever. When we make significant changes, we'll let you know via email or a notice on the website.
The "Last Updated" date at the top tells you when the most recent changes happened. We recommend checking back every now and then, but honestly, we'll make sure to notify you if anything major changes.
Continuing to use our services after changes means you're cool with the updated policy.
Got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data? Don't hesitate to reach out. We'd rather you ask than worry about it.
