Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 30, 2025

We take your privacy seriously. Here's the straight talk on how we handle your info.

Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But here at Pyrethral Nexus Fitness, we figured you deserve to know what happens with your personal info without having to decode a bunch of legal jargon.

This policy covers everything we do with your data when you train with us, book classes, sign up for membership, or just browse our site. We're based in Vancouver, BC, so we follow Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA and all that stuff). Bottom line? We only collect what we need, we don't sell your info, and we keep it secure.

Personal Details You Give Us

When you sign up or book with us, we'll ask for the basics - name, email, phone number, address, birthday (gotta make sure you're old enough to throw around those Olympic bars). If you're doing nutrition planning, we might ask about dietary restrictions or health goals.

Payment Information

Credit card details, billing address - the usual stuff for memberships and class bookings. We use secure payment processors, so your card info doesn't just hang out on our servers.

Health & Fitness Data

Medical history, injury info, fitness assessments, progress tracking - basically anything that helps us keep you safe and crushing your goals. We take this stuff seriously since it's pretty sensitive.

Automatically Collected Stuff

IP address, browser type, pages you visit on our site, how long you hang around - standard website analytics. Helps us figure out what's working and what's not.

We're not gonna beat around the bush - here's exactly what we do with your info:

  • Running the gym: Processing memberships, booking classes, managing your account, sending you reminders about sessions you've booked
  • Coaching you: Creating personalized training programs, tracking your progress, adjusting nutrition plans, keeping tabs on injuries or limitations
  • Staying in touch: Sending class schedules, gym updates, maintenance notices, the occasional promo (you can opt out anytime)
  • Payment processing: Charging membership fees, handling refunds, keeping financial records straight
  • Improving our services: Analyzing what classes are popular, figuring out peak hours, making the website better
  • Legal stuff: Keeping records for tax purposes, responding to legal requests if they come up

That's it. We're not mining your data for some weird side business or anything like that.

We don't sell your info. Period. But there are a few situations where we share it:

Service Providers

Payment processors, email service providers, scheduling software - basically the tools we need to run the gym. They only get what they need to do their job, and they're contractually required to keep it secure.

Legal Requirements

If we're legally required to hand over info (court order, government request, that kind of thing), we will. But we'll let you know unless we're prohibited from doing so.

Business Transfers

If we ever sell the gym or merge with another business, your data would be part of that transfer. The new owners would still have to follow this privacy policy though.

With Your Permission

Sometimes we might want to share success stories or testimonials. We'll always ask first and give you full control over what gets shared.

We take security seriously - probably more seriously than some of you take your warmups (yeah, we noticed). Here's what we do:

  • SSL encryption for all data transmission (that little lock icon in your browser)
  • Secure servers with regular security updates and monitoring
  • Limited access - only staff who actually need your info can see it
  • Regular backups so we don't lose your data
  • Strong password requirements for your account
  • Payment info is handled by PCI-compliant processors, not stored on our systems

That said, nothing's 100% foolproof. We do our best, but if there's ever a breach, we'll let you know ASAP and tell you what steps to take.

Not the protein-packed kind, unfortunately. These are the digital cookies that help our website work better.

Essential Cookies

These keep you logged in, remember your cart, make the booking system work - can't really run the site without them.

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how people use the site - which pages are popular, where people get confused, that sort of thing. Usually Google Analytics or similar.

Marketing Cookies

Track whether ads are working, remember if you've seen certain promotions. You can disable these in your browser settings if they bug you.

Most browsers let you control cookies through settings. Just know that blocking essential cookies might make parts of the site stop working properly.

Under Canadian privacy law, you've got some solid rights when it comes to your data:

Access Your Info

You can ask to see what personal information we have about you. We'll get you a copy within a reasonable timeframe (usually 30 days).

Correct It

If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it. You can update most stuff yourself through your account.

Delete It

Want us to delete your data? We'll do it, unless we're legally required to keep it (financial records, injury reports, that kind of thing).

Opt Out of Marketing

Don't want promo emails? There's an unsubscribe link in every marketing email we send. We'll still send important account stuff though.

Port Your Data

Need your data in a format you can take elsewhere? We can provide that in most cases.

To exercise any of these rights, just email us at info@pyrethralnexus.info or give us a call. We'll verify it's actually you (can't just hand out data to anyone who asks) and then take care of it.

Our services are primarily for adults, but we do have youth athletic performance programs. If you're under 18, we need a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf and agree to this privacy policy.

For anyone under 18, we collect and use information only with parental consent. Parents can review, update, or request deletion of their kid's information anytime by contacting us.

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 without explicit parental consent and supervision.

We might update this policy occasionally - new laws, new services, new technology, whatever. When we make significant changes, we'll let you know via email or a notice on the website.

The "Last Updated" date at the top tells you when the most recent changes happened. We recommend checking back every now and then, but honestly, we'll make sure to notify you if anything major changes.

Continuing to use our services after changes means you're cool with the updated policy.

Got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data? Don't hesitate to reach out. We'd rather you ask than worry about it.
